Meeting Point Well: A Meeting That Changes Everything
On October 23, 2026, the Cottbus City Hall will be the venue for a special experience of faith. The Adonia musical MEETING POINT WELL tells the biblical encounter between Jesus and the woman from Samaria, combining the Christian message with modern music, theater, and dance.
A Biblical Story Full of Hope
At the center is a woman who experiences exclusion, contempt, and loneliness. At the well, she meets Jesus, initially unaware of who stands before her. From what seems like an ordinary conversation, a profound change occurs that affects not only her own life but also the life of an entire village.
70 Youth, Choir, and Live Band
On stage, 70 talented teenagers perform in choir, theater, and dance. Accompanied by a young live band, a vibrant production unfolds with expressive songs, moving theater scenes, and creative show elements. Twelve modern musical songs drive the narrative and create an intense spiritual atmosphere.
Modern Experience of Christian Spirituality
The musical addresses central themes of the Christian faith: dignity, forgiveness, hope, acceptance, and radical change. The biblical narrative is presented in an understandable and contemporary manner, inviting people of all ages to reflect on encounters, prejudices, and new life perspectives.
An Evening for the Whole Family
The Adonia concert is aimed at families, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. The event lasts about 90 minutes. Admission is free; voluntary donations to support the Adonia work are requested on-site. No registration or ticket is required. Doors open one hour before the concert begins, and seating is available on-site.
Experience an impressive interplay of music, faith, theater, and community at the Cottbus City Hall. Let the story of the Samaritan woman touch you and discover live how an unexpected encounter can bring new hope.
