When Christmas Goes Viral and Everything Goes Wrong in Christmas Land

Christmas Between Likes and Losing Control

The Cottbus Children's Musical presents “Influencer Disaster in Christmas Land”, a new Christmas musical for the social media era. At the center is a Christmas world where apparently nothing goes as planned: Christmas goes off the rails while the logic of likes, reach, and public attention plays an ever bigger role.

The story combines the familiar theme of Christmas with a contemporary perspective on social media. This creates a musical material that merges current digital life worlds with a festive stage story. The title promises an entertaining scenario around an extraordinary mess in Christmas land.

Public Performance in the Cottbus Town Hall

The public performance will take place on December 13, 2026 at the Cottbus Town Hall. Those who want to experience the new piece from the Cottbus Children's Musical can look forward to a festive event with musical elements and a clear reference to the present.

The theme provides an opportunity for a smile, while also prompting reflection on the influence of social media. When a celebration like Christmas falls into the current of digital attention, special conflicts and surprising situations arise. This is exactly how the announced Influencer Disaster in Christmas Land develops.
